Topic:  Play With A Purpose:  Using Sports to Teach Life Lessons to Mentees

 

Trainer:  Dr. Jason Galea

Dr. Jason Galea has a PhD in Sports Psychology and worked with Professional Athletes in the NFL, NHL and MLB.
Presently working with Professional Cycling team and potentail Olympian BMX riders. The focus of his work includes:  Performance Enhancement, Life issues,Stress Management, Anxiety Management, ADD/ADHD issues, and Issues involving focus.  He has also served as a Guest Lecturer for SDSU athletics, SDSU athlete training/therapy certification program, and OASIS Medical training seminars.

Join the San Diego Canyoneers and watch for hawks soaring above Rose Creek in this 275-acre oasis along the old Santa Fe Railroad roadbed. As mentors and Christians we are encouraged to share what Jesus has done in our lives so that others can see His light in us and hope for a better future, especially to our kids whose outlook is often incredibly bleak.

Let’s not overlook our role in His army and get out there and encourage!
