Independent City will take place Saturday, May 15, 2010  at the Hall of Champions in Balboa Park. This is a great opportunity for ILS eligible youth to practice their self-sufficiency skills. This Sunday (March 14th) at the Rock Church (2277 Rosecrans St., San Diego, CA, 92106) we’ll be holding a pancake breakfast to raise funds for foster youth.  The funds will go towards senior pictures, yearbooks, cap and gowns and summer programs! Due to the generosity of Jacques Cesaire Step Up has been sending foster youth & mentors to all the San Diego Home Games.  The 50 greatest Chargers were announced before the games began.  We all enjoyed the complimentary lunch and the excitement of watching the Chargers win another one.
